Östra Eds Sjömännens Gästgiveri/Hotel is beautiful located by the sea in the lovely little coast-village Skeppsgården south of Valdemarsvik and north of Västervik. Watch also route.
Here you find nature-reserves (Åsvikelandets- and Licknevarpefjärdens-Nature Reserve), forest, a beautiful coast with hundreds of islands, a rich animal- and plantlife (elk, eagle)
This part of Sweden has a continental- climate (less rainfall) and a pleasant summer-temperature. Long days in especially may, june, july and august.
You can make long walks in Skeppsgården and the nature reserves, swim, sun-bathe, rent A CANOE, KAYAK OR MOTORBOAT (it is wonderful on the water), fish, make excursions and so on.
The rooms are large (1 up to and including 4 persons) with a beautiful view (on the sea), own toilet, shower, t.v. and mini-refrigerator.

The hotel has a big garden.
The meals are in the cosy little restaurant beside the hotel.
The hotel is located about 100 meters from a fjord, where you also can find a little beach.
You can come with own transport or quickly with an aeroplane (straight flights from many places)
